Right now we just have a gate blocking the kitchen and he doesn't really go in there unless he's being carried, in his chair or having a bath. My kitchen is pretty big though and I'd like him to be able to hang out with me while I do stuff. But I look around and I really despair of ever toddler-proofing it. I mean the stove, fridge, recycling, cabinets, shelves. Does anyone actually have a toddler-proofed kitchen and how did you do it?

(I am not looking to be able to leave him there unattended or anything, just have him in there without having to say "NO!" a thousand times a second to keep himself from hurting himself.)

I'm looking for a Little Tikes Cookin' Fun Interactive Kitchen for Christmas, and I've found it on the internet for cheap, but I'de like to look it over in a store before I purchase it. Toy's R US doesn't have it...At least not in stores...If anyone can help it would be great...Thanks a lot
